William Roberts

ROBERTS, William H.-Age 89, born on November 11, 1919 and passed away on December 10, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. Roberts and Ellen Barnard Roberts, and nine older siblings. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ann Roberts and three children Rebecca Meyers, Steve Roberts, and Ellen Warren and six grandchildren. William was a US Air Force WWII veteran, who for five years served his country proudly. He went on to lead a successful career as a pipefitter. William loved gardening, cooking, and chasing Tennessee critters but most of all he loved his family. He will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, from 2:00-p.m. to 8:00-p.m. Funeral mass will be at Saint Anne Catholic Church on Saturday December 13, at 10:30-a.m. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
