It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing away of Vinnis Raydean Fisher on December 5, 2024, at his home in Greenbrier, TN. He was born January 26, 1951, to McVenters "Pots" and Mary "Maisy" Buntin Fisher. Raydean was predeceased by his parents.
His upbringing took place in the small but busy closeknit farming community of Orlinda, or better known as "the Sunniest Spot in Tennessee" where he enjoyed riding his bicycle. Raydean grew up at a time when neighbors really cared for and helped one another —this affected his personality. He loved to converse with family and friends.
His early education was in a one room school, the Krisle School. Raydean graduated from East Robertson High in Cross Plains, TN.
In 1986 Raydean married Jan Hudgens. To this union was born one daughter, Marja Elise Fisher (Trinidad). He retired from Electrolux in May of 2022 after 42 years. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1971 along with his mother and sister, Francine. Studying Bible prophecy was a special focus of his. He often mentioned how much we need God's kingdom (Mt 6:9, 10).
Raydean is survived by his wife, Jan; one daughter Marja (Joshua) Trinidad; one granddaughter Azure Raine Trinidad; sisters Francine (O'Brien) Black, Rebecca (Nelson) Taylor, Vivian (Jerwoyn) Jones, Kimberlyn Fisher, one brother Steven (Brandi) Fisher; sister-in-law Audrey (Lawrence) Smith; many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
