Thomas Lee Vaden, 76, of Greenbrier passed away Friday, February 26, 2021. Born December 24, 1944 in Elmwood, TN, Tom was the son of the late Herman King Vaden and Susie Bell Woodard Vaden. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hilton, an infant brother and a grandchild. Tom retired from McQuiddy Printing Company after 51 ½ years with that company. A true "workaholic" he also worked nights as an officer with the Greenbrier Police Department for 18 years and spent 4 years working as a Judicial Commissioner. Tom was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family. He is survived by his wife of more than 58 years, Wanda E. Adcock Vaden; two sons, Thomas "Tommy" Alan Vaden (Tina) and Michael Wayne (Diane) Vaden; 5 grandsons, Thomas Ray (Becky) Vaden, Joshua Michael (Callie) Vaden, William Jeptha (Samantha) Vaden, Jacob Myles Vaden, and Christopher Zentz; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Christine Brown; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Beth (Randy) Cavender, Faye (Mike) Heatherly, Gary (Shirley) Adcock, Kenny (Cheryl) Adcock, Larry (Mary) Adcock, David (Tammy) Adcock, and Charlie (Jackie) Adcock. A celebration of Life service will be held at 6 pm Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Springfield Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 - 6 pm.
