Terry Ledford

Terry Steven Ledford age 60 of Cottontown passed away at his home on April 9, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 3, 1961 to Harold and Ruby Ledford in Shelby, North Carolina. He moved to Nashville to attend Nashville Auto Diesel College where he graduated in 1981. While in Nashville Terry met the love of his life Ms. Cynthia Poirier. They were married on June 6, 1981 and where blessed with three children. Through the years Terry worked as a Diesel engine repair mechanic. He and his Dad worked together to rebuild crashed Toyotas together.

Terry’s spare time was spent being the best Paw Paw anyone could ask for. Memories of fishing, helping at church and playing in the floor with his grandchildren are just some of the many memories shared. Terry was a true follower of Christ through everything his faith never wavered, and he knew God had a plan.

Terry will always be remembered as a faithful follower of God, a loving husband, awesome dad, devoted son and brother and the best PawPaw in the world.

Terry is preceded in death by his daughter Haley Nicole Ledford and his father, Ted Ledford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cynthia P. Ledford; children, Jeremy Colt (Courtney) Ledford, Amber Renee Ledford, and Andrew Garett (Kaylee) Ledford, Sr.; grandchildren, Jayden Colt Ledford, Arianna Ledford, Kinslee Ledford, Kamiya Ledford, Eliza Ledford and Andrew Garett Ledford, Jr.; mother, Ruby O. Ledford, brothers, Chris (Robin) Ledford, Jamie (Mary) Ledford and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration will be held at 6pm on April 30, 2022 at the Church of Grace Park with Brother Bob Cook officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 until the time of service.
