Teresa Marie Moore age 63 of Springfield, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at St Thomas Mid Town.
She was born on January 11, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David and Gloria Hale. Teresa worked for 40 years for the State of Tennessee as an Accounting Technician for the Finance and Administration department and was a faithful member of Bethel Church of Christ. She was an avid reader and loved traveling with her best friend, Frances.
Teresa came into the lives of her stepchildren by love. Teresa never had any biological children of her own but when she married, she gained two teenagers. They shared vacations and holidays and great times. Even through the years with all the changes Teresa never left them because she needed them just as much as they needed her. She was always willing to jump in wherever she was needed and always asking “What can I do to help?” She was there for the birth of all their babies. Teresa never missed a ball game, a dance recital, or holiday with them. Every birthday she was there with her famous birthday cake she made with love just for them.
Nana Teresa is whole now; she is rejoicing in her flip flops probably carrying a Vera Bradley or 31 bag. She will be missed dearly and was a true blessing to us all.
Teresa is preceded in death by her niece, Jessica Hamilton.
She is survived by her parents, David and Gloria Hale of Bowling Green, KY; brother, David and Teresa Hale, Jr. of Glasgow, KY; sister, Cyndee and Gary Sundin of Edina, MN; nephew, Jason and Deanna Hale; great nieces and nephews, Jadon Hale, Jaxon Hale and Haley Hamilton; stepchildren, Mary (Justin) Matthews and Benny (Ashley) Moore; step grandchildren, Alan Perry, McKenzie Matthews, Bayleigh Matthews, Paisley Matthews, Briley Moore, Madelyn Moore, Colton Moore; dear friend, Frances Green, and Brandon and Michelle Wilson and Joann Wilson who was like a granddaughter to Nana Teresa.
