Susan Horner

Susan Jane Horner, age 78 of Springfield and formally of Watertown Massachusetts left this Earth on March 26, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1943, to the late Harry and June McKenney in Newton, Massachusetts.

Susan worked for many years and retired from The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her interests were shopping, swimming and listening to country music.

Since moving to Tennessee with her son, Susan enjoyed watching TLC, the hummingbirds on the back porch and the deer that were in the backyard. Even though she left her Watertown home she was still a diehard New England Patriots fan.

In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Larry Horner, even in divorce they had a loving friendship.

She is survived by her son Mark Horner and  her daughter Sheryl Horner White; grandchildren, Bryanna Leonard, Jacqueline Horner, Julia Leonard, and Kayden Horner; sister, Martha Anderson, Mark's significant other Michelle Denning and Sheryl's husband Michael White as well as her devoted friends, Natasha Van Doren and Jeanne Fields.
