Sue Claire Ryan, age 85 of Springfield, passed away on April 13, 2020 at NorthCrest Medical Center.

She was born on March 19, 1935 to the late Robert L. and Eva Lucille Hardcastle Crabtree, in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Sue worked for many years at Gaylord Opryland Hotel as a Supervisor. She enjoyed spending time with her family traveling out west and keeping in touch with her friends. Sue loved her church family at Ebenezer Baptist Church and loved receiving her DVDs if she missed church. You could find her on pretty days sitting outside enjoying the sunshine or playing a game of solitaire.

Sue will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie Louise Crabtree and Patricia Ann Crabtree.

Sue is survived by her husband, Earl Ryan of 64 years; daughter, Pam (Chip) Thomason; grandchildren, Shavelle O'Ryan Thomason and Shyannah Claire Thomason; sisters, Nancy (Freddie) Marrison, Alice (Sonny) Hoback and brother, Robert (Faye) Crabtree.
