Stella Garner, of Portland, TN was born on January 19, 1914 and went to be with her Lord on January 21, 2014 at the age of 100. She will be remembered as a faithful Christian, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Stella was welcomed into heaven by several brothers and sisters, and daughter, Gertrude Baines. She leaves behind a son, Howard E. Watson (Darlene), son Richard E. Watson (Maggie), 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
A life celebration ceremony will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2PM in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home.
