Sandra Elizabeth Davis, born on July 11, 1945, in Surrey, England, entered into eternal rest on February 16, 2025, in White House, Tennessee. A beloved figure to many, Sandra is remembered for her kindness, loving nature, and her generous heart. She opened her home to others, embodying the spirit of community and friendship.
Sandra’s professional journey spanned over six decades until her retirement from Ameriprise Financial Services, making a significant impact on the clients and colleagues alike. An educated woman, she was an East High School Graduate of 1964 and further pursued her studies in business at Middle Tennessee State University and Belmont University.
An active member of her community, Sandra contributed to various organizations, including Beta Sigma Phi, GreenRidge Civitan Club, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She found solace and strength in her faith, being a member of Organic Community Church, while previously belonging to Ebenezer Baptist Church.
In her leisure time, Sandra cherished traveling and collecting thimbles, a hobby that reflected her unique interests and passions. She was particularly proud of her dual citizenship between the United States and Great Britain, a testament to her rich heritage and the life she built in her beloved adopted home.
Sandra's legacy endures through her surviving family members: her daughters, Barbara (Zack) Davis, Vicki (Aaron) Benton, Niki (James) Riley, and Missy (Michael) Gentile; honorary children, Greg Proctor, Randy McIntosh, Stephanie Knight, and Chris Hood; her grandchildren, Charles (Sheri) Davis, Jeffery (John) Davis-Devaney, Christy (Tim) Bolton, Amy (Kyle) Quillin, James-Aaron (Ashley) Benton, Veronica Riley, Hannah Gentile, Barrett Gentile, and Addison Honold; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Davis; her parents, Thomas and Joan Davis; and her son, Ricky Davis.
Honorary pallbearers are: Aaron Benton, Zack Davis, James Riley, Michael Gentile, Wayne Semore, Dan Semore, Jeff White, Luke White, Matthew White, Gary Suter, Brian Suter, Eddie Suter, and Mark Pinkleton.
Her life will be celebrated with services at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Springfield, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM, and her burial will take place at 2:00 PM on March 8, 2025. A reception with light refreshments will follow the burial service.
