Rusty Jolene Tritto

Rusty Jolene Tritto touched the lives of many with her feisty and determined spirit, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her journey began on April 7, 1936, and after a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family, she departed from this world on April 26, 2024.
 
Known for her headstrong nature and generous heart, Rusty always put her family above herself. She had a passion for dancing that brought joy to those around her, and her sense of humor and caring demeanor endeared her to everyone she met. Rusty was also an avid writer of poetry and enjoyed spending time indulging in one of her favorite pastimes – shopping.
 
Among Rusty's proudest accomplishments were her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "Grandmaw" or "GiGi." Her memory will forever live on in their hearts, a legacy of love and devotion that transcends time.
 
Rusty is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Jerry Tritto; daughter Dee (Jerry) Reynolds; sons Sam (Belinda) Barney and David (Angela) Tritto, and Mitchell (Ellen) Webb; sister Vicky Lundy; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
 
 She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Barney, and grandson, Billy Barney.
 
The celebration of Rusty's life will take place on May 1, 2024, at the Springfield Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Springfield, TN. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
 
Rusty Jolene Tritto will be remembered not only for the love she shared with those around her but also for the light she brought into the lives of others through her kindness and laughter. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
