Robert White

WHITE, Robert T. - Age 88 years, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late William W. & Virgie O. White. Robert was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy. After his service to our country he began his career in law enforcement working with the Metro Nashville Police Department as a detective, until his retirement. He was a longtime member of both the West Nashville Moose Lodge and the VFW. He leaves behind his children, Patricia Ann Toney, Bonnie Bowen, Brian White, and Candi White; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. The Life Celebration service will be on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 12 noon from the West Harpeth Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Stuart Cemetery in Burns, TN. Jay Toney, J'Austin White, Mackinsley White, Johnny Mack Palmer, Dorris Sharber, and Gilbert Laforest. will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 3-8pm, and again on Friday morning from 11am until the service time at 12 noon at the West Harpeth Funeral Home
