Robert Lyell

LYELL, Robert LeeAge 92 of Nashville, was born April 4, 1916 in Hickman County and passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at his home. Mr. Lyell worked for the Chrysler Corporation for 30 years, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during WWII, and was an avid golfer with the Sweat Hogs. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wren and Gene Lyell. Mr. Lyell is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Marie Lyell of Nashville; sister, Mildred Lyell Smith of Dickson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Brandt H.
