Robert Thomas Frazier, Jr. age 95 of Goodlettsville passed away on July 3, 2019 at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Clarksville.
He was born on November 29, 1923 to the late Robert T. and Verna Frazier in Goodlettsville. He joined the military in 1943 during World War II. After being discharged he worked as a maintenance man and retired from General Electric. Robert enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica and singing with his children during revivals.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years May Stanley Frazier; daughter, Sherree Joy Lassiter; grandson, Kenneth Whitaker and brother, Norman Frazier.
He is survived by his children, Annette Young, Robert C. (Elaine) Frazier, Vernon L. (Jane) Frazier and Julie Anna (Mack) Ray; eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
A Military Graveside Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, July 8th at Woodlawn Memorial Park 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, TN 37204 with Pastor Gary Frazier officiating. Charles Young, Paul Young, Robert C. Frazier Jr., Wesley Frazier, Kenneth Whitaker, Sr., and David Martin will service as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30-11:30am at Springfield Funeral Home.
