Robert Chapman

Robert Charles "Bob" Chapman, age 69 of Hendersonville, TN passed away at home surrounded by his family on February 7, 2008. Mr. Chapman was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and most of all, a loving and cherished husband, who will be missed immensely by his family. He was an employee of Peterbilt Motors Company and served as an Elder at the Rivergate Church of Christ for nearly 30 years, where mission work was his passion. He is survived by his loving wife, Earline Potts Chapman; his daughters, Vickie Chapman Geery and Barbara Chapman Crawford; his grandchildren, Robert Chapman Geery, Erica Earline Fitts, Victoria Lindsey Geery and Cameron Chapman Crawford; his great-granddaughter and the apple of his eye, Presley Earline Fitts; his sister, Sandra Hightower and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Rivergate Church of Christ. Interment with military rites will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service Saturday, at the Rivergate Church of Christ. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Members of the Rivergate Church of Christ will act as honorary pallbearers.
