Rita Ann Campbell left this world on August 29, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born on July 12, 1966 to John and Vicki Frost in Robinson, Illinois. Rita was a member of Bethelhem Baptist Church. She graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Computer Science. Rita worked at various Nashville companies as a computer programmer analyst. Rita married Eric Campbell on October 19, 1991.
Rita was a sweet and caring soul. She thought of others first and always made sure to face every situation with a positive attitude. Her heart and soul belonged to the Lord and her spiritual gift was serving others around her.
Her days were filled with love and happiness that she shared with her devoted husband Eric and daughter Katherine. The family enjoyed spending time together, especially trips to Gatlinburg and camping. Rita will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and sweet friend. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Rita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Doris Kasiar and Clyde and Bertha Frost; sister-in-law, Bonnie Moore, and father-in-law Sam Campbell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Eric Campbell; daughter, Katherine Campbell; her parents, John and Vicki Frost; siblings, Victor (Ann) Frost, Bill (Kim) Frost, and Diane (Barry) McDermott; In-laws, Richard and Betty Poirier and Rita S. Campbell; brothers-in-law, Scott (Jessenia) Campbell and Doug Campbell; sister-in-law, Cindy (Terry) Ledford; nieces and nephews, Jonathan (Megan) Frost, Emily Frost, Courtney Frost, Seth Frost, Blaine Frost, Carson Frost, Claire McDermott, Evan McDermott; Jayden Campbell, Jace Campbell, Jaylee Campbell, Joe (Irene) Moore, Racheal (James) McCloskey, Amber Ledford, Jeremy Ledford, and Drew Ledford; great-nephews, Lincoln Frost, Colton Frost, and Hunter Moore, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Life Celebration will be held at the 10:30 Sunday Morning Service at Bethlehem Baptist Church: 3323 Bethlehem Road, Springfield, Tennessee 37172 with Brother Mike Cummings officiating. The family will receive friends at the visitation on Saturday from 5-8pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank Rita's friends and church family at Bethlehem Baptist Church who stood with her as she fought a long and brave battle with her illness.
