Richard "Richey" Allen Neal, Sr.- age 50 of Gallatin passed away May 22, 2014. Richey was a graduate of the Hendersonville High School Class of 1982. Throughout his life he loved to fish, work on and restore cars, watch NASCAR races and take care of his late dog Bullit. During his working years Richey was a fork lift operator for Globe Business Furniture. He was a loving son, companion, father, grandfather, brother and friend who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Neal, Jr.
He leaves behind his parents, James & Carolyn Neal, Sr.; children, Carolyn Donica (Lucas), Richard Neal, Jr. and Christopher Neal (Sheena); Fiancé, Patsy Revels; extended family, Brandi, Krista, and Taylor Revels, Ashley Hanes; grandchildren, Alexis & Kole Donica, Addison, Brady & Rylee Neal, Rylee, Alexis & Kenzie Hanes; grandmother, Billie Fivash; uncle, Mike Pharris (Jane); aunt, Linda Kirkpatrick (Jimmy) and many other loving family and friends.
A life celebration service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 5:30PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 24, 2014 2-8PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy. Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3885.
