Rick Holloway, age 72 of Greenbrier, formerly of Joelton, passed away January 9, 2016. Rick was born on November 16, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Ray and Martha Holloway. Rick proudly served in the U.S. Air Force; he will be remembered as a jack of all trades who could build and do anything. Rick loved boating and fishing, especially at Center Hill Lake and at Beaver Lake in Arkansas. He was a Godly man who loved to help people and will be deeply missed by his family. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Holloway; sister, Nancy Hayton and sister-in-law, Lori Smith. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Holloway; daughter, Karla Dowlen; grandsons, Kris Dowlen, Jabari Dowlen and Jaylynn Brown; sisters-in-law, Cathy Schlotzhauer, Sr. Judith LaBrozzi and Debbie Holloway; brother-in-law, Steve Smith and a host of nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration in honor of Rick will be held on Thursday, January 14th, 5:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:30 until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund in Rick's honor.
