Loving and selfless, Rebecca Ann Pennington, known affectionately as Bebe to her loved ones, passed away in Greenbrier, TN. She was born on January 2, 1960, in Nashville, TN to the late Thomas Warren and Bernadine Warren.
Rebecca dedicated her career to caring for others as a caretaker at Mabel Carter Assisted Living. Her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many residents under her care.
One of Rebecca's fondest memories was the annual beach trips she took with her family. She also cherished the joyous Christmas celebrations surrounded by her loved ones. She loved every minute that she was able to spend with her grandsons, Tristan and Rhett. Her eyes would light up each time they walked into a room.
Outside of work, Rebecca had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She enjoyed going antique shopping with her partner Johnny, indulging in painting with oils and acrylics, attending car shows, and creating beautiful wreaths for families. A particularly touching gesture was her habit of placing flowers on the graves of those who had passed away.
Rebecca will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Leigh Ann Pennington and Heather Elizabeth (Nicholas) Stafford; grandchildren Tristan Oakley Stafford and Rhett Owen Stafford; her partner of 17 years, Johnny Rowe; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Warren and Bernadine Warren, and siblings Jennie and Michael.
The viewing and services to honor Rebecca's life will be held on March 30th at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Springfield, TN. The events include a Viewing starting at 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM and Burial at 2:00 PM.
