Ray J. Jack Kent, age 73 of Portland , Tenn. Monday August 9, 2010. Survived by his wife of 52 years; Betty Dutton Kent, daughters; Beverly Kenneth Robson, Sandra Troy Felts and Connie Orebaugh , sons; Danny Cynthia Kent and Tommy Melanie Kent grandchildren; Justin, Jeremy, Rachel and Crystal Felts, Ashley Long, Amber Crews, Joshua Kent Kayla, Bryce, Chase and Caitlyn Kent. 9 great grandchildren also survive. Sisters; Ella Brown, Irene Martin, Billie Denham and Carolyn Davenport. His family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 P.M. on Tuesday August 10 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. on Wednesday August 11 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Dame officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens, HENDERSONVILLE FUNERAL HOME AND MEMORY GARDENS. 615 824-3855.
