Randal M. Moore, age 83 of Springfield passed away on September 12, 2020 at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.

Mr. Moore was born on July 29, 1937 to the late Williams and Koma Rives Moore in Nashville. He graduated in 1955 from North High School before he joined the United States Army. Mr. Moore married the love of his life, Ms. Judith Roysden on September 29, 1965, they would have celebrated their 55-year anniversary at the end of this month.

He worked for 27 years as a Sheriffs Officer for Metro/Davidson County and worked as a security guard for Waylon Jennings for 23 years and for Wal-Mart. Mr. Moore and Mrs. Judith are members of Bible Holiness Church in Madison for the last 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and providing for them. His unique personality and sense of humor will keep the memories flowing for years to come. Mr. Moore will forever be remembered as a loving husband and Pop forever.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Deborah Ann Moore and siblings, William "Billy" Moore and Shirley Moore Hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith R. Moore; son, Randy (Dawn) Moore and Larry (Mandi) Moore; grandchildren, Annette Moore, William Moore, Katie Moore, Larry (Julene Searles) Moore, II, Christopher Moore, Caleb Moore, Alex Moore, Taylor Moore, Hudson Moore and Ariella Moore; and siblings, Carol Loring and Joe (Jerri) Moore.

A Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 11 am with Rev. James Kahler officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Larry Moore, II, Christopher Moore, Caleb Moore, Alex Moore, William Moore and Curtis Yarrison serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15th from 4-8 pm then again on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service. Online condolences can be made through www.SpringfieldFH.com
