Phillip "Randy" Baucom- age 64 of Hendersonville passed away June 11, 2014. Randy loved the Lord and was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church for 43 years. He was an avid Bible reader and prayer warrior. His passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He retired after 34 years with Peterbilt. During his life he was a huge sports fan of the Atlanta Braves, Vanderbilt Commodores and the Tennessee Titans. He will always be remembered for his humorous stories, generosity toward others and his servant's heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janet Baucom; children, daughter, Kayce Owen (Alan); son, Christopher Baucom (Jennifer); grandchildren, Graci and Mattie Winfree, Zachary Owen, Caden and Maclane Baucom; brother, Tommy Baucom (Pam); aunts, Mary Jean Baucom, Brittie McMillon and Judy Hinkle; several other loving family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Hendersonville First Baptist Church Missions fund.
A life celebration service will be held on Saturday at 4:00p.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Bobby Williams officiating.
