Stockton, Opal Estelle, age 90, went to live with the Lord December 19, 2006. Preceded in death by husband, Chester Stockton; parents, Carsie and Willie Sircy; brothers, Arthur and Luther Sircy; sister, Barbara Miesch; great-granddaughter, Candace Callis. Survived by daughters, Joyce Raymond Callis, Peggy Richard Buttrey; grandchildren, Gary Faith Callis, Lisa Buttery and Richard Buttrey; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kalyn Callis and Seth and Natalie Clarke; brother, Adrain Sircy; sisters, Ruth E.W. Hassell, Lucy Bennett and "adopted" sons, Larry and Gayle Snoddy. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday December 22, 2006 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Elder Gayle Snoddy, Elder Neal Forshee and Elder Jerry Shrum officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be the Secret Sisters of Faith. Active pallbearers will be Kyle Callis, Seth Clarke, Larry Snoddy, Benny Snoddy, Jim Milliken and Virgil Shoulders.
