Odie W. Lowery, Jr.-age 84 passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2014. He was born on Christmas Eve 1929 in Davidson County, TN. As a young man he was in the Army and proudly served our country in the Korean War. Odie then attended college at MTSU where he received a B.S. in business. He then moved to Hendersonville, TN where he built homes for more than 50 years. Odie was a man of faith and a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ for many years. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jewell M. Lowery; children, Kevin Lowery (Melanie), Laurale Lowery and Libby Bond (Andrew); grandchildren, Sydney Lowery and Alex & Watts Bond; sister, Mary Elizabeth Pate.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday at 11am at the funeral home with Brother Keith Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
