Parham, Sarah Nell Rhodes age 90 Of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on December 3, 2013, and was born to the late Carl and Christine Rhodes on October 6, 1923.
Mrs. Parham taught kindergarten for 35 years at Hendersonville Church of Christ, and her passion for teaching lives on through studyjesus.com. Nell loved The Lord and was a faithful member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, and was most famous for her cooking. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Cleon Bradley Parham, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Parham Neal and Michael David Parham; grandchildren, Jennifer Coons (Brian), Cliff Neal (Michelle), Brandon Parham and Ashlie Sloan (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Cash Coons, Caroline Coons, Madelyn Coons, Cortland Neal, Neelie Sloan, Madeline Sloan, Jackson Smith, and McKenna Smith.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12pm in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home, with minister Larry Snow officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2-6 pm and Monday from 11-12 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
