LEVINE, Mary Jo Davis-Born October 15, 1926 in Nashville, TN. Died December 7, 2008, Franklin, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Tennyson Levine, Jr., her parents, Katherine Burns Davis and Philip Job Davis, her brothers, Philip Joseph Davis and John Burns Davis. Mrs. Levine graduated from Saint Bernard Academy, Nashville and continued her education at Saint Mary College, South Bend, Indiana. She began her work career at Saint Thomas Hospital where she was an assistant to the Medical Doctor of Pathology. After her marriage to Mr. Levine, she worked for the State of Tennessee in the office of the Secretary of State. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Robert Tucker Marjorie Davis, Jane Frances Roy Redford, Jr. Manning, Alphonse Henry Dolores Davis, Helen Burns Davis William Fields, Jr. Alexander, Francis Patrick Dorothy Davis and Sister Philip Joseph Davis, O.P. Mrs. Levine was a lifelong communicant of the Cathedral of the Incarnation Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, December 10th at 9:00 a.m. at the Cathedral prior to the Mass of Resurrection. The rosary will be prayed at 10:15 a.m. and Holy Mass will be celebrated by her cousin, The Reverend John Burns McArthur of Memphis at 10:30 a.m. Active pallbearers: Philip Joseph Davis, Jr., Robert Tucker Davis, Jr., Paul Joseph Davis, Richard Pruitt Davis, Roy Redford Manning, III, Jeffrey Dunn Davis, John Joseph Davis, Philip Job Davis, II, James Daniel Davis, William Fields Alexander, III, Philip Davis Alexander, Francis Patrick Davis, Jr. A special thank you to her loyal caregivers, Beverly Booker and Lea Ann Richardson.
