Mai Tant

TANT, Mai Ellen Gray, 88, Nashville, September 17, 2008. She was retired from Corp of Engineers in 1981 and a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde R. Tant, Sr.; daughter, Helen Diane Tant; parents, Joseph Douglas Gray and Clara Mai "Polly" French; sister, Melba Gray Seagraves. Survived by son, Clyde Raymond Teresa Tant, Jr.; grandchildren, Diane Tant Marty Daniel, Ray Betsy Tant, Anne Marie Tant Bob Finley; great-grandchildren, Robert and Nathan Finley, Eleanor, Mclean, and Nancy Tant; twin sister, Mary Helen Gray Dozier; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and beloved cousins; caregivers, Kay Goff and Joan Kasboski. The funeral service will be at 11am on Friday, September 19, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
