Lynn Ward

WARD, LYNN DELL – Age 76 of Hendersonville passed away March 3, 2013 after a long 27 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Mr. Ward was born in 1937 on a farm in West Tennessee; this is where he met the love of his life. He began his hard working career with National Life Insurance Company. He then opened his own business, Mid-South Insurance Agency Inc, which his daughter and wife continue to run today. He was a strong willed independent man that loved his work and family. He enjoyed the simple life of going fishing, working and most of all spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Ward and Bessie Barker Ward; brother, Glynn Dale Ward. Survived by his devoted loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Ward; children, Melissa Carol Stephens & Patricia Lynn Duchesne Frank; grandchildren, Brent Robert Stephens & Amber Leigh Emil Justin; sister, June Johnson Sonny of Rutherford, TN. A Life Celebration will be held 12 Noon Thursday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday & 11am-12pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Michael J.
