Lt. Maxcy

Lt. Col. Ret. Edra Lee Maxcy, Jr., age 84 of Hendersonville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Mr. Maxcy was preceded in death by his parents, Edra Lee, Sr. and Ina Moran Maxcy; his first wife, Preboline Maxcy. He is survived by his wife, Heather Eileen Maxcy; his sister-in-law, Sandra Lee Weston; his brother-in-law, Alex Hantzis; his son, Lee Sarah Keith Maxey; his daughter, Janie Wells; his grandchildren, Johnny Emily Maxcy, Liza Maxcy, Preston Maxcy, Cayce Beth Tiesler; his great-grandchildren, Patrick and Kyle Tiesler; his sister, Katherine Ray; his nephew, Ronnie Brenda Ray; his grand-niece, Kimberly Ray; and grand-nephew, Will Ray. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial with military rites will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Hendersonville Funeral Home.
