Loren R. Personett-age 79 of Nashville, TN passed away February 14, 2014. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 4, 1934 to the late Clifford and Deloris Personett.
Loren loved wood working especially making pens. His family lovingly called him "Pen Man" because of his art for making beautiful pens. He loved Nascar and early in his life built race cars and was in a pit crew. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club for many years. Loren was a jokester and enjoyed playing pranks on everyone. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Helen Cross Personett; children, Diane Unverzagt (Kris ), Loren Personett Jr. (Leeann), Keith Pedigo (Tracie), Kathy White (Hank) and Eric T. Pedigo; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Paul Personett (Sharon); nephews, Brian, Greg and Tony Personett.
A life celebration service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
