Loran Lyle Lincoln age 74 of Springfield and formally of Rock City, IL passed away at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born on March 11, 1948, to the late Lyle and Helen Lincoln in Freeport, IL. Loran worked for many years in the agricultural industry as a farmer. He raised everything exotic birds, rabbits, reptiles, chinchillas, rats, dogs, and anything else that could be shown at a county fair and win a blue ribbon. It was known that when the Lincolns showed up you could guarantee they would be taking home that blue ribbon.
Loran loved his family and his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed time on the weekends and during the holidays when the family would gather in fellowship making memories that will last forever.
Loran is survived by his children, Ben (Karen) Lincoln, Melissa (Dean) Trott and Steve (Melody) Lincoln; grandchildren, Kurstie (Beau) Scruggs, Aaron (Holley) Lincoln, Joshua (Betty) Lincoln, Zachary (Kayla) Lincoln, Mason Lincoln, Lexi Brown, and Gracie Brown; great grandchildren, Daniella Lincoln, Bennett Lincoln, Jachin Lincoln, and Brylan Scruggs; siblings, Larry (Susan) Lincoln, Linda Spangler, Laura (Tom) Page and LeRoy (Peggy) Lincoln; brother-in-law, Jimmy Cooksey.
