Linda Sue Woodward- age 74, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away June 19, 2014.
Mrs. Woodward was a kind, loving, & giving woman who had never met a stranger. She was a devoted wife, mother, & grandmother. She enjoyed designing flowers, Playing Canasta, singing in the choir & reading. She was loved by everyone she ever met.
Preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae Collum Patrick & James Patrick. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years James C. Woodward, Sr.; Children, James C. Woodward, Jr. (Risa) & Michele Collins (Michael); grandchildren, Brianna Woodward, Gabriel Collins, Callie Woodward, Sophia Collins & Sydney Woodward; sisters, Carolyn Kephart (Edward) & Mary Kidd; several nieces, nephews, extended family members & friends.
A Life Celebration service will be held 1:00pm Monday June 23rd at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Kephart officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm Sunday & 11am-1pm Monday at funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sarah Cannon Research Institute.
