Lettie Nesbitt

Lettie Silvey Nesbitt, age 89 of Hendersonville, passed away on August 9, 2010. She was born on April 5, 1921 in Jackson County, TN to Fountain Otis and Lula Hunter West. She was a long-standing member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and retired from Genesco after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Wayne Silvey and Roy K. Nesbitt; and her step-mother, Eunice West. She is survived by her daughters Linda Jerry Griswold and Joanne Joe Zimmerle; grandchildren, Sandy Chris Hall, Jody Brandy Zimmerle and Tony Michele Griswold; sisters, Dot Olah, Hallie Rodgers and Etta Crunk; brothers, James and Charles West; and great-grandchildren, Maddie and Abbie Hall, Keaton and Zach Zimmerle, and Caleb Griswold. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Courtney Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, August 10 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
