Laura Bonvissuto

BONVISSUTO, Laura Michelle, age 34, passed away September 11, 2010 in Nashville, TN. In addition to being a graduate of MTSU; second grade teacher at Bradley Academy in Murfreesboro; enthusiastic and beautiful mother, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend, she was also a relentless positive attitude spreader; serious coffee addict; proud do-it-yourselfer; fanatic grower of all things green; unapologetic hippie; loud belly laugher; big, strong hugger; genuine tell-it-like-it-is-er; lover of a good book and hot bath; let-it-all-hang-out dancer; bargain shopper; a woman who perfected the art of organized disorganization; lover of felt, glitter and all things artsy-craftsy; and a kisser of boo-boos, finder of ticklish places and fully committed, tireless mommy to her twins, Joseph and Isabelle Beard. Those who will keep her spirit alive include her parents, Dr. Louis and Lucy Bonvissuto of Brentwood; her brother and sister-in-law, Dominic and Danny Bonvissuto, of Jersey City, NJ; her grandmother Helen Bonvissuto, of The Villages, Fla.; aunts, uncles and cousins across the country and countless friends. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil at 7:30 p.m. and a funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, both at Saint Matthew Catholic Church, 535 Sneed Rd W., Franklin, TN 37069.
