Crowell, Knowlton H., Age 91, December 27, 2006. Survived by wife, Evelyn Crouch Crowell; daughters, Linda Joel Plunkett and Dana Virgil Hale; brother, Craven Aileen Crowell; grandchildren: Cindy Chapman, Danette Delaney, Teri Meredith, Joel Lee Plunkett, Linda Creasy, Jill Plunkett, Andrea Gammon, Julie Curry; 17 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Service to be held at 2 p.m., December 29, 2006 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Clifford Dobbs and Ray Frizzell officiating. Active pallbearers will be brother-in-law, Marvin Crouch and grandsons: Marlin Chapman, Steve Delaney, Robert Meredith, Joel Lee Plunkett, Jeff Creasy, John Gammon and Joe Curry. Honorary pallbearers, elders and deacons of Old Charlotte Road Church of Christ, where he was a member and led singing for 60+ years. Interment will be in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
