Katrina E. Mencer
Katrina E. Mencer, age 60 of the New Deal Community, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009. A native of Tennessee, she was born in Davidson County to the late Martin and Ethel O'Brien. Mrs. Mencer worked most of her life as a certified technician in nursing and was a member of the Birdwell's Chapel Church of Christ. She is survived be her loving family, including her husband, Robert Mencer of New Deal; daughter, Kimberly Delk James of New Deal; grandchildren, Harmony and Dakota Delk of New Deal; sister, Carolyn Reese of Madison; brothers, Gary O'Brien Pat of Portland, Bennie O'Brien, and Tony O'Brien both of Madison. Funeral service was conducted on Monday, July 6, 2009 from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home at Crestview with Bro. Ronnie Kidd officiating. Interment followed in the Gallatin Memory Gardens at Crestview. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
