Ms. Kathy Tate, age 68, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Cross Plains, TN. She was born on July 2, 1952 to the late Paul and Betty Ann Moore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Larry Tate; and sister, Judy Searcy.

Kathy had the biggest heart for people and loved immensely. She enjoyed spending her time outside enjoying her flowers and she could be found often at the beach.

Kathy is survived by her children, Crystal Lynette Scarbrough (Sean) and Paul Mason Draughon; grandchildren, Payton Warren, Reagan Flynn, and Brigham Warren.

A life celebration will be held at 2pm, Saturday, December 19th at Springfield Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Family will receive friends from 11am-2pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital.
