Joseph Holstead, Jr.

HOLSTEAD, Joseph Joey age 47 passed into eternal life November 1, 2008 with family and friends at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Holstead of Ft. Worth, TX. He is survived by his mother Charlotte Holstead, sisters Holly and Tiffany Holstead of Nashville, and brother, Joshua Holstead Kim of Sugar Land, TX. Joey was born in Port Arthur, TX, attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and was a graduate of the University of Texas. His formative years were spent in the Ft. Worth-Dallas area, as well as Lafayette, LA. Visitation with the family will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 to 2:30 pm with graveside services to follow at 2:30. Rev. John Feldhacker will officiate. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson, Nashville, TN. 37203, or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Drs. William Polk and Eric Raefsky for the care given to Joey during his battle with cancer.
