Johnnie Louise Dunning was born on July 3, 1946 in Hillsboro, TN to the late Ligel and Dorothy Creek. Johnnie peacefully closed her eyes on earth and opened them in Heaven on April 24, 2014. She was amazingly special to everyone, especially to her family. She was a faithful member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church for 10 years.
Johnnie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Thomas Dunning, who will always remember her as the "Perfect Lady"; daughter, Kimberly Roberts and husband Travis; granddaughter, Savannah Roberts, and sister, Mary Ellington.
Active pall bearers will be Brian Manning, Wade Elam, George Hooten, Jimmy Smith, Bobby Dixon, Lanier Rawls, Bill Wilson, and Ron Page.
A life celebration ceremony will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2PM in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home, with Dr. Bruce Chessor officiating. The family will be having visitation from 10AM until service time.
