Jerry B. Berry, 65 of Springfield passed away at his home Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born September 17, 1955 in Ashland City, TN, Jerry was the son of the late Harry E. Berry and Wilmoth "Jewell" Berry. Jerry graduated from Springfield High School and later attended Tennessee Tech. He entered the work force and was a supervisor for the Whirlpool Corporation Lavergne Division. He was a Christian, and at one time was a Sunday school teacher and bus driver for the West End Free Will Baptist Church. He loved family and the family gatherings. He was a best friend and a wonderful big brother to his siblings. He was always there for them whatever the need. He was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed motorcycles, guitars and going to car shows. Jerry is survived by 3 brothers, Harry Dale Berry, Mark A (Lynnette) Berry, and David F. Berry; his sister, Vickie (Phillip) Jones; his niece, Jessica D. Binkley; and his nephew, Logan T. Berry. A Life Celebration will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Springfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday from 11 am until the time of service.
