Jeffrey Dewey Ray 61 of Springfield, passed away on August 26, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Jeff was an honest, caring, faithful, adventurous and family oriented man. He had a heart of gold and his family was everything to him. He took pride in working hard and providing for his family while always looking out for those in need. Family dinner time was important to Jeff. He loved spending this time together discussing life and everything about that day. He enjoyed grilling burgers, drinking Frappuccino, and taking his sons to Starbucks where he loved to just sit and talk with them. Recycling was important to him and he made sure every bottle he had was recycled and never just thrown away. He had a love for football, stayed up late to watch sci-fi movies with his wife and enjoyed outdoor activities with his children as well as traveling and seeing the world. He adored his three aussies, Bella, Cedar and Groot. Jeff told the absolute best jokes and made the best out of every situation while staying joyful with a smile on his face. He had endless aspirations to do in his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ray, Sr.; grandparents, Ethel Dewey Ray and Maggie Hughes Ray and his brother Raymond Ray Jr.
Survived by his wife, Angela Ruggeri Ray; children, Allan Ruggeri-Ray, Nicholas Ruggeri-Ray and Giulianna Ruggeri-Ray; mother, Lois Dean Ray; sisters, Jennifer Knox, Terri Hinkle and Sharon Ray Stubbs; brother, Gregory Ray; uncle, William Robert Ray; and many cousins and nieces.
