James Harper

James M. Harper, age 63 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Skyline Medical Center. A native of Springfield, Tennessee, he was born to the late Claude and Ezma Harper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Harper. He is survived by his wife, Joan G. Harper; sons, James Kevin Harper, Jeffrey Scott Harper, and Robert C. Williams Jr. Shaaron; daughters, Tammy Shonting Alan, Jamie M. Harper-Haley Josh; grandchildren, David Thomas Harper, Zachary Alan Shonting, Trevor James Harper, Maia Ashton-Paige Williams, Ashlyn Shea Williams; brothers, Robert Harper, Virgil Harper; sisters, Peggy Brown Terry, Pat Ruley Ben; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Bro. Jeffrey Todd Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens where his closest friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
