JAMES EDGAR HAMILTON, age 74 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday July 31, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife; Beverly Hamilton and brother; Pete Hamilton. He is survived by his daughters; Teresa Jeff Smith, Jeanine Billy Ward, Michelle Doug Ramsey, Yvette Flipp Gregory and Bridget Nathan Behrens, brothers; Royce Hamilton and Charles Hamilton, sisters; Brenda Cox, Linda Davis and Connie Robinson. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive. His family will receive friends from 4 – 8 P.M. on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. on Wednesday August 4 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral home with Pastor David Jenkins officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sailors who served on the USS Hornet from 1956 to 1962. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
