Irene Locke

Irene Charlotta Locke, age 92 of Gallatin, TN formerly of Madison, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008. Mrs. Locke was preceded in death by her husband, Leon M. Locke; her parents, her sisters and her son-in-law. She is survived by her children, Leon Bettye Locke, Sally Bob Head, and Susan Koch; her grandchildren, Bob Head, Jr., Karen Forbes, Evelyn Clausen, Lisa McClendon, Dana Kane, Bryan Koch, Angie Boone and Chad Koch; and 20 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church with Father Gideon officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison. Ian and Matt Clausen, Bob, Jr. and Parker Head, Bryan and Chad Koch, Tim McClendon and Lee Boone will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Head, Sr., Jim Holmes, Dwight Smith, Don Dickerson and Tony Rosales. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Vianney Catholic School or to Sumner Hospice.
