Harry E. Berry age 84 of Springfield passed away on November 4, 2020 at his home.

Harry Ernest Berry was born on January 12, 1936 to the late Frank and Lola Bell Berry in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was a member and deacon at West End Freewill Baptist Church. Harry was a self-made business man that worked as a painter, plumber, milkman, share cropper and machine operator over the years to provide for his family. He enjoyed connecting with people he met and finding out who you were and who your family was. By then end of the conversation Harry would have connected you with someone he knew or worked with.

Harry loved his family and will forever be remembered as a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Wilmoth Jewell Berry; siblings, John Thomas "Mike" Berry, Walker Berry, George Berry, Katherine (Adam) Binkley, Dorothy "Dot" (Tommy) Newman, and Carl Howard "Hoopie" Berry.

He is survived by his children, Jerry B. Berry, Harry Dale Berry, Vickie Lynn (Phillip) Jones, Mark A, (Lynnette) Berry and David F. Berry; grandchildren, Jessica D. Binkley and Logan T. Berry; siblings, Frankie Charles Berry, Lola Dorene Thompson, Rebecca Elizabeth "Becky" Dowlen and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration will be held on at 10am Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Springfield Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6th from 5-8pm then again on Saturday from 9am until the time of service. Online condolences can be made at www.SpringfieldFH.com .
