George Depew

George “Frenchie” Depew, 83, of Smyrna, TN passed away peacefully on Monday March 14, 2022. He was born February 19, 1939, in Sneedville, Tennesse. George served his country honorably in the Navy and Coast Guard and had many beautiful stories he shared. He retired from Anchor Industries and spent time with his family. He enjoyed gardening and his drink of choice was Seagram's 7.

George is survived by his daughters, Stacy Yandles and Susan Tallant (Billy) of Smyrna, TN. George has five grandchildren, Chelsey (Chris) Voyles, Maylan (Matt) Bond, Morgan Yandles, Allie Tallant (David), and Tori (Jacob) Jernigan. He has three great-grandchildren, Macie Lynn, Manning James, and Nora Ridley.

There will be a private celebration of life to honor George.
