Faye Baker

BAKER, Faye Duck, age 77, of Nashville, was born August 11, 1931 in Cassville, GA and passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Lee and Minnie Hayes Duck; brothers, Everett Edwards, Nathaniel Franklin Duck, William Glen Duck, Bill Clinton Duck, Dewey Judson Duck and Melton Arvid Duck; and a sister, Dixie Myrtle Edwards Woods.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim "J.R." Baker of Nashville; son, Joe W. Stone, III of Nashville; daughter, Deborah Stone Nabors of Nashville; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Sue Duck Earley of Rome, GA; sister-in-law, Margaret Duck Alvis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Rainey and Mrs. Ella Dunn officiating. Entombment will follow in the Last Supper Mausoleum in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
