F. Cook

F. Willis “Bill” Cook, 78, of Byrdstown, TN, passed away on October 11, 2010 in his home. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda G. Smothers and his two children, Elizabeth (Lisa) Stine and Richard Rowe Cook, as well as his grandchildren: Carrie Barker, Stephanie Stine, Andrew Cook, Matthew Cook and Leah Cook. Bill grew up and lived for most of his life in Evanston, IL. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, PA in 1951 and then attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Bill was accepted into the Naval ROTC program and served a 2-year tour in Germany. He was a small business owner and entrepreneur. Bill enjoyed several hobbies, including art collecting, gardening and keeping fish. He also enjoyed boating and fishing. Bill loved to travel and to spend time with his grandchildren.
