Eugene Lewis Beauchane, a hard worker with a wonderful sense of humor, has unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 68 in Springfield, Tennessee. Born on March 27, 1955, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Kenneth Beauchane and Peggy Fitzgerald, Eugene was known for his warm personality and his ability to strike up conversations with anyone he met.
Eugene's vibrant life will be celebrated during a Memorial Gathering that will take place on February 7, 2024. The gathering will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM at the Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172.
Throughout his life, Eugene had a variety of interests and hobbies. He loved fishing and spent many peaceful hours along the riverbanks casting his line into the water. When it came to sports, Eugene was an avid supporter of the University of Tennessee football and basketball teams. Additionally, he was a diehard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and never missed a game.
Family was incredibly important to Eugene. He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 45 years Beverly Beauchane, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together they created a beautiful family filled with love and cherished memories. Eugene's children Scottie (Kelly) Beauchane and Miranda (Joshua) Heatherly will forever be grateful for their father's guidance and unwavering support. His legacy also lives on through his siblings Sherry (Curtis) Clinard, Pam Ashley, Kenneth (Ellen) Beauchane, Peggy Diane Lavigne as well as through his grandchildren Matthew Heatherly, Michael Heatherly, Lucas Heatherly, Cooper Dillon Beauchane, Tatum Beauchane and Emma Beauchane.
Eugene's memory will forever be cherished by those close to him. He was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Fitzgerald, stepfather James "Choo Choo" Fitzgerald and his siblings Ronald Beauchane, Donald Beauchane, and Brenda Rippy.
Eugene was known for his wonderful smile and amazing sense of humor. He had the remarkable ability to lift the spirits of those around him with a simple joke or a funny story. His kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
In addition to being a dedicated family man and an exceptional friend, Eugene had a soft spot for animals. He shared a special bond with his loyal companion Rowdy, a faithful dog who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Eugene Lewis Beauchane's departure from this world has left a void that cannot be filled. However, we find solace in the knowledge that he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. May his soul rest in eternal peace as he reunites with departed loved ones in the blissful realms beyond.
