Ellis Wayne Woodis- age 69 of Hendersonville passed away July 1, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Woodis; daughter, Michelle Woodis; grandson, Joshua Jones (Sara); great-grandsons, Weston & Harrison Jones; brother, Ramond (Edna) and sister, Mary Sandlin.
Ellis was a Godly man who loved the Lord, his church, and studying the Word. He was also a deacon at Center Point General Baptist Church for many years. Ellis was a carpenter and loved creating things with wood and spending time in nature as well as hunting. He was a loyal member of the Hendersonville Masonic Lodge #359. As much as he loved all these things the love he had for his family was much more. He will forever be remembered for his big heart and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Alive Hospice 1718 Patterson Street Nashville, TN.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday 2pm at Center Point General Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4pm-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7pm.
