Edna Shoemake

SHOEMAKE, Edna Mincey, age 85, of Hendersonville, passed away October 25, 2008. Mrs. Shoemake served as a State of Tennessee Labor Inspector for 22 years. She was one of the first hired Meter Maids in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Counts Shoemake and granddaughter, Deidre Curtis. Mrs. Shoemake is survived by her daughter, Pat Shoemake Scott; granddaughter, Kim O'Kelley Winters; great-grandchildren, Heather Winters Sellards, Tiffany Winters and Peyton Winters; great-great grandchild, Shaelyn Sellards . A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 11 A.M. at Spring Hill Cemetery. The Shoemake family will receive friends from 4 pm – 8pm Tuesday October 28, 2008 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
